No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls
Life's way too short to ignore your sweet tooth so I'm all about finding the healthiest sweet treats I can make. Plus I am convinced that peanut butter makes my hair grow. You can sub almond butter for peanut butter, and cacao powder is optional (I just like it!). These energy balls are customizable and super quick and easy to make. Store them and enjoy them for up to a week, or put in the freezer for up to 1 month. Perfect for on the go snacks, hiking trips, or just craving something sweet.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 of a dark chocolate (dairy free) chocolate bar
- Tbsp Cacao Powder
- 3 tbsp of peanut butter
- 2/3 cup of gluten free oats
- 1 tbsp of chia seeds
- 1 cup of chopped and pitted dates (I used Mejool dates)
1. Put ingredients into a food processor or use a handheld mixer to grind the ingredients together.
2. Roll into small balls using the warmth of your hands to get them to glue together.
3. Put on baking sheet into freezer or fridge for 15 minutes, Enjoy!
